Limited Edition of 125. Sometimes you come across a subject that is shouting out to be captured in black and white and I think this oak tree, with its light dusting of snow, is a prime example of just that. The high contrast between the snow and the branches already made for quite a graphic image, but the light grey clouds in the background really emphasised the intricate shapes of the branches. Producing a black and white image of the scene enhanced and brought together all these factors, at the same time giving even more depth to the texture of the bark and the image as a whole. Printed on Ilford Smooth Cotton Rag 310gsm.
